I didn't know that it was possible to pay $1000 for a mechanical pencil.

Of course it is!

I didn't knew it was possible to get $1000 for a mechanical pencil.

Bought a hybride jacket for walks and hikes. I hate to wear normal jackets, they are way too thick and make me 'move' more difficult.
This jacket fits like a glove.

Just received the suspension clips I've ordered on Ali Express.

Not bad at all. Pretty tight, so it grabs good hold of my pocket. Put it on my NiteCore Tube. Like it so far…

Serena, I'm not familiar with this type of carry. How does this work? clip goes on MT/SAK/torch with a short chain/lanyard, and then clip goes on pocket edge? What are these clips originally designed for...suspenders?  ??? Sorry for the stupid questions  ;)

That's super-neat and discrete!

Added bonus is that you're less likely to end up washing things...my wife takes no responsibility for items left in pockets... :ahhh

I have a ritual. When I'm at home, lying on the couch, going to bed etc. I always empty my pockets on a big tray on my dining table. Never have stuff in my pockets when I enter the bedroom.
Every evening, always, for years already.

Nice ones. I've heard good things about Bose's NC headphones.
I just bought my first ever Bose product: a bluetooth speaker. My JBL one broke after a few months :(

Used them for a couple of hours now and they're amazing. The ANC is perfect, music is really clear. Google Assistant AND Siri.
It even reads your messages out loud so you don't even have to get your phone out of your pocket.

Did you also use the 20% discount at Media Markt?

Yes I did :)

A bit of an impulse buy, but I'm doing a bit of DIY work in and around the house and I cannot do that without music.

If there's no music, I'm not happy. My house is filled with speakers, downstairs, upstairs, garden. Always carry my AirPods or like now, my headphones.
Good buy!!!

I'm not leaving, just laying low.

I typed a whole story here, but deleted it. Everything I say is put on a scale. Already started a fitty.
Done with that, so not saying anything anymore.

This is the only forum I'm on.  I dont use any other social media at all for that matter.  If you need a break or feel you want to lay low by all means do so.  I for one enjoy this corner of yours so if I might make a suggestion?

Post here and take a break from other areas of the forum.   This way those of us who do enjoy your corner can continue to do so ;)

I find some threads of no interest to me so I tend to not visit those.  Other times the thread stays a bit far from the topic so I loose interest.   I also tend to keep to thread and areas of the forum that do interest me.  This way I stay connected to the fun I came here for initially.   We have a lot of personalities from a wide group from all over.  Please take this in the most caring way.  I don't honestly believe anyone here is out to hurt anyone.   I really believe that.  This forum can be a bit much for some at times and breaks are needed.  I find when we perceive something as a direct attack or jab at us its hard to shrug it off.  Shrug it off if you can and continue to have fun in the parts of the forum you find fun in.

I enjoy having you part of the forum.  :salute:

That's the ticket Greg.  :iagree:

It's a funny old Forum in some ways but I've always found it pretty well meaning and with enough space for everyone to enjoy their own thing. Stick with it Serena that's a cracking Snowflake Explorer and it'd be a shame if that didn't get posted here again

Well, it's an idea to stay just in my own topic.
It's true there are topics here that have nothing to do with EDC and are way to busy. Indeed, I don't visit them anymore.

What did I do this afternoon?

I found some paracord in a closet and decided to make myself a new bracelet.

I think it looks really nice…

It's heavy, but it fits perfectly in that EDC Pouch. Was the first time I actually used it today. Really like the fact that the pliers are spring loaded.
Wasn't enthusiastic at first, tools are hard to get out.
But I think it just needs to grow on me.
And for the tools, that's where my SAK comes in.

Nice color on that lighter right? Bought it this week for the EDC Pouch. Used it now to melt the ends of the paracord.
