Day 14.

This can opener is a real pain in the butt to use. Love the knife, hate the opener...

Is this the picture you mean, Ray? It shows the opener working around the outside of the can, opening under the lip.

If there's a video of it in use, I can't find it.  :(

Day 15.

Daughters toy had a much too short cordage attached to be pulled properly.
The hole was a little too small for new cord. Problem? No problem at awl for Mr. BYSAK.  :climber:

PS: thanks for the can opener tutorial. Will test it later.

Day 16.
More than half the month over. Going to love the simple layout of the soldier. Miss T+T.

Out for a short walk.  Frosty, no snow so far. Found some frozen shrooms, they didnt pop up all summer and autumn, but show up now.  :dunno:

Sounds like the hibiscus we have here...a bud for so long and then bloomed in 3 days - crazy!

17.

Light boring office duties today, so a snap back home between some souveniers from the holidays. Mainly fossiles found in costal areas.

What is your most interesting find in the fossil department? I’m partial to the trilobites my self.

Love the echinites ive found in the normandy. There were hundrets of mussle fossiles too and most tourists didnt even know they were standing right on them. Told them and they started picking them up, too.  :tu:
Tribolites are not very common where Ive been yet. Looking forward to see some one day.
Maybe visit the jurrassic coast of south england, but you cantbpick them up there.

Day 18

Because of yesterdays pic more fossiles from this years holidays in france. All found in the normandy. My avatar was taken while collecting most of them.

Top left: oisters, the round one is a sponge (porifera)
Bottom left: snails, corals (anthozoa /  scleractinia), sea lily ( crinoidea)
bottom middle: smaller oister (there were hundrets of them...)
middle right under the SAK: echinites
right side: corals
above the SAK: brachiopods (of those I got more than 100).

Hope I named them all correcly, if someone knows better, please answer.

Yep, those clippoint blades were unique, a pity Wenger closed and/or discontinued them (old ranger series, looking at you!)

Day 20.

Final day for getting the last things needed for christmas. After picking the duck at a local farm yesterday I bought a tree in a pot (will plant it in my parents garden in spring).
Felt like going big today so Ranger in my pocket.
Was about to take a Vic Picknicker with serrations, but wasnt sure if this would be throwback enough.  :to:
