Day 11
Used the large blade to scrape down the old varnish off this beaverman stool. Refinished with pure beeswax. A good days work including a repair to one leg.

Can't have been hardened correctly Matt...

Anyway,

Day 11

Can he lift it?  :pok: we're taking bets here on the Boat - 5-3 he slips a disc.

I slipped a disc once, put on Wham instead of Faith... ruined the party.

And I thought Dyslexic 107 were a band Fuzzy. I'm sure they were a folk group from the 70's

Not Dyslexic 107 silly  :twak: it's Dyslexic Moi?, but with the i and o cleverly flipped over to make an amusing visual witticism... Oh wait, were you just making a humorous observation in response to mine?

No I’ll take the  :twak: if you take the  Fuzzy

Is the mouse a signature symbol for your work??? It was also on the lamp I believe that you redid.
Not my work. Mouseman furniture is well known in the UK and the states. He had many apprentices who left and set up their own workshops. The stool is by one of his apprentices who uses a beaver as his mark. There are many others ( rabbit, wren, squirrel, lizard, fox etc) They are known as the Yorkshire critters. Beautiful handmade furniture but very expensive.

Day 11

Somewhat uneventful, had to repair a spade handle after it came off whacking away some surprise surprise, compressed snow.

Planned on taking a group pic with my nephew's Fisherman, but he left it at home. So there's some anyway, CT S, Outrider, Adventurer and Viking I think.
