Day 12:

This morning, I'm making a bread with sunflower seeds in it.

So...I have a pocket full of tools, but most of the time I'm reaching for these scissors. It reminds me why I asked Syph to make me a 'Compacter' with just and knife blade, awl, and....scissors.

Still, I'm enjoying the Swiss Champ a lot more than I thought I would.   :tu:

Day 12
Adjusted and zeroed the scope tower. Much easier with the magnifier long screwdriver on the Wenger Champ than the can opener screwdriver on the SC.

Disaster though, I dropped the champ and knocked a chunk out of the scales.

Sunflower seeds! Great tasting.  :like: :tu:

Bird seed.  Though prolly fit for human consumption.  Kept outside in a large, metal (squirrel proof) garbage can with lid.

Day 12

Used the crosshead screwdriver
To remove the lid from my storage box
And I removed the hinges
as they have been damaged

The crosshead screwdriver
was not the easiest to use
As it isn’t in the middle of the tool layout

Great SwissChamp action Wim  :hatsoff:

The SwissChamp is quite heavy. It would make sense if it had tougher scales, right?

Day 12
Today I had to resort to my CT41 to adjust the brakes on Matt Juniors bike.

Good I had a magnet added to the bit driver.

I've always liked the looks of the Wenger Champ but never had the chance to actually meet one in person. (sigh)

Day 12

Was mostly shopping today, but surprisingly had quite a bit of uses. The can opener was used to help put back in some cabin drawers, toothpick, as the name suggests, magnifier to look at some small text.

Special mention to my Dad's SwissTool (present from me) helping a local band fix their buses windshield wiper.

The Citizen was a thrift store wind, I'm not too interested in watches but it looked nice and was impassably cheap.

Hopefully just the battery is dead, hands and the calendar work fine manually, since the watch is in very nice condition sans the some minor plastic stratches and broken strap, which was a low quality aftermarket anyway, I'm going to ask my brother to borrow a proper opening tool and take a look, he's a watch collector.

Day 11:

I was out fishing in the canyon this afternoon and evening.

(Image removed from quote.)

Chilly day, hard frost, but at least the line and guides didn't ice up. However, fishing was slow and I lost a few lures in the rocky bottom. As a result, the Swiss Champ saw a lot use as I changed out or replaced lures.

(Image removed from quote.)

By the time I headed back to the truck, the river was ahead by four lures..... still, a bad day fishing beats any day at work!   :tu:

(Image removed from quote.)
Incredible scenery !!!
