No action today...was at a 2 hour class that went 4 hours...which was ok with me! It was more a refresher class to see what was new since I last tied flys.

I love the Clouser  :tu:

More can opener action today as well as the mag glass.  While the magnifying glass is small, it sure comes in handy when my trusty bifocals just aren't enough . I actually used it to get a fire going a couple years back, but that was with a nice bright Summer sun and very dry tinder.

As soon as the Sun gets hot I'm trying it Barry, did it as a youngster, but that wasn't a SAK magnifier  :tu:

I wish I still had my Outdoorsman with the gray frame mag glass Greg.  I have a feeling it would work a lot better for firestarting.

Day 13

The SwissChamp pliers helped me to zip for safety today.
I marked our boat bollards so snowmobiles won't hit them and crash or break.

Should probably post for a badge, but can't remember the procedure.

Day 13

Today I used the electricians blade to
remove the green felt from my storage box lid
Was hoping to get this done yesterday
But friends turned up unannounced  :ahhh
After I finish cleaning the sticky stuff from the lid
I can hopefully cut some black velvet to fit the lid

No problems using the electricians blade
I was only using it to push the
velvet away from the edges
To make a starting point to remove the velvet  :tu:
fail to prepare prepare to fail

Day 12

Was mostly shopping today, but surprisingly had quite a bit of uses. The can opener was used to help put back in some cabin drawers, toothpick, as the name suggests, magnifier to look at some small text.

Special mention to my Dad's SwissTool (present from me) helping a local band fix their buses windshield wiper.

The Citizen was a thrift store wind, I'm not too interested in watches but it looked nice and was impassably cheap.

Hopefully just the battery is dead, hands and the calendar work fine manually, since the watch is in very nice condition sans the some minor plastic stratches and broken strap, which was a low quality aftermarket anyway, I'm going to ask my brother to borrow a proper opening tool and take a look, he's a watch collector.

(Image removed from quote.)
That numerical numbers on the watch is nice!  :like: :tu:

That hit my eye as well, I have a similar, seemingly newer crystron from my brother with plain lines.
I really like the numerals, the stylized lightly cursive type is rarely found on current men's watches, and looks nice.

Thanks for the assist MTMatt, now to see if my hasty pictures were sufficient, at least the view is nice.

And WsSpeed, judging by your activity that's a storage box, not the storage box?
