Am I getting old?

Somehow, these things happen to me sometimes. Must be something to do with age :)
  • Spotting a nice SAK on eBay, MTo or somewhere else. Almost buying it. Checking the collection and seeing it's already there :facepalm:
  • Writing a SAK ad for Marktplaats or eBay. Realizing (just in time) that you sold the SAK in question years before :facepalm:
  • Getting exited about a SAK you see on Google Images. Realizing it's your own SAK. And you took the picture yourself :facepalm:
  • Not bothering about a nice SAK you see advertized. Feeling stupid when it turns out it actually was the one that was missing from a specifiek series :facepalm:
  • Wrting a short piece of text for your blog. Wanting to take some pics of the SAK in question. Not being able to find it. Remembering you had already sold it years ago, or never actually owned it in the first place :facepalm:
  • Posting a pic of your SAK on one of the FB SAK groups. Realizing you posted the same pic the previous day :facepalm:
  • Selling a SAK to some anonymous stranger. Realizing you had actually promised it to a friend (this really makes me feel bad) :facepalm:
  • Throwing away the packaging material after receiving a Battle Series SAK. Realizing the certificate of authenticity is now missing :facepalm:

I think it just means that you have had and still have a lot of SAKS, but that is alright because you can never have too many SAKS! :cheers:

I can definitely relate to these, Reinier :D

You know that horrible brain fart that you get, when you walk upstairs and forgot what you went up for? Well a couple of times, I've walked into town (which can take me about an hour instead of the 20mins it used to) and forgot why. It's horrible. Starting at shop fronts hoping something will jog your memory. Walking into the usual shops you buy from, and wandering round the usual shelves looking for clues there. Remember something you need, go get it, and start the trek home. Walk in the door, and put the keys down next to the letter you went to town to buy an envelope for...  :facepalm:

Or even worse, get to the house to unlock the door, put your hand in your pocket to get the keys, and bring out the note you wrote so you'd remember what to buy - that you forgot you'd put in your pocket :dwts:
