Another thing I found deleting old eBay listing photos from stuff I'd bought off my laptop. This PST advertises Norfolk Southern Railroad's Pocahontas Division, which is my area, and the yard and office is in Bluefield, WV (the next town over). I actually bid on this one, and forgot to bid again, missing by one whole dollar. Oops!

Surprised I have not seen one locally while on my flea market trips. I know 2 or 3 people who work or have worked for the Pocahontas Division, including one I know worked for them for many years, retiring about 4 years ago.

Very cool that the business is so close to you :like: to bad you didn't win that one on the bay and it is kinda surprising that you don't see any out but the ones that received them probably have them put up somewhere  :think: :tu:

Just to make you feel better, dont forget that when you 'lose' an auction by $1, it might not actually mean you would have won it for $1 more than what it ended on, as they could have had a much higher maximum bid. Of course you probably already know this but it's best to look at it this way and assume that the winning bidder had a much higher maximum, just to make you feel better! 😂👍🏻
