Outdoorsman’s new look

Picked up a Outdoorsman with some bad Victorinox scales at a good price. Wanted to mod this one but after cleaning it up and getting it to snap better, well way better, I decided to put these Swiss Bianco G10 scales on it.  After watching some YouTube videos, I saw one where it just snaps into place on some models and they did on this one. Back side snapped in really easy. The ‘cross’ side took a little persuading on 2 of the 3 holes. Wrapped it and tapped it...lightly...and it went on. Next is a new spring for the sissors.

Looks good! I've had pretty good success with the SwissBianco scales. Sometimes I wrap them and clamp them to get them to "click."

I put some Swiss B+ scales on a camper, and they worked out nicely. I did use a vice to clamp them into place with even pressure, but quite a nice 'mod'.

The G10 scales are very nice and well worth the money. I know you like them also as they are on our Spyderco’s!  :tu:

I hear you there. The fish scaler  is the only additional layer than the Woodsman right? They are nice for sure.
