Thanks! I have a better piece of leather ready to make a new one, but it's more elaborated. It'll take me some time to start/finish it. Until then, this works great.

Never used one of these. Can you actually get enough leverage to make them useful?

Well, the driver size is not very big, so it's not for very big screws. If needed, you can use the inside of a SAK/knife to work as a lever.

It's great for screws on kid's toys and other small plastic things (e.g Gameboy)

The only problem with the quatro is a pretty obscure and minor one.

If you have a cute female engineer who carries three of them, you get space wheat.

And I still don't get it...

Quatro, the tool in question.
Three of them would be "tri"
The character Kaylee was the starship technician on the series Firefly.

You get "Quadrotriticale", a fictional off shoot of triticale, a real wheat-rye hybrid, which is from Star Trek. Space wheat.

And it isn't a horrible pun. It is much, much worse than simply "horrible"  >:D

Well, the driver size is not very big, so it's not for very big screws. If needed, you can use the inside of a SAK/knife to work as a lever.

I've been carrying a quattro for a few years now ,and it phased out my old Sear's 4-way keychain screw driver. I've fond even a fork can be used former handle, or two sticks held snugly together, or a very small pliers to twist it.

The little quattro has better formed bits for the Phillips screws, where the old Sears had to have one of the smaller bits filed down to make a ad hoc Phillips to work. I can't recall the las time I saw a flat head screw outside of a firearm. I think the whole world is now held together with number 2 Phillips or smaller screws.

With an executive as my EDC pocket knife, I keep the quattro and a P-38 in my wallet.
Don't get too serious, just enough will do.
