Sheffield Bonus Utility Knife!
on: December 14, 2018, 02:43:34 AM
So I was walking through Walmart and spotted this 3 tool package featuring two box cutters, and an MT. Today I'm focusing on the steel box cutter because it is what peaked my interest.

It's pretty well constructed, all it required out of the box was a little tuneup, I loosened the pivot and sprayed some Rem Oil to make the opening action smoother. It carries deep in the pocket and is very thin. In fact it's thinner than a ballpoint pen! The knife is second from the right in the bottom picture. It is compared next to a Pioneer X, Ballpoint pen, and streamlight microstream

It uses a frame lock design, which is good because it keeps a slim profile with this lock type. The lock bar sits at about 25-30% but at least it will move over further to the right with time.
Not pictured but there is a little up and down wiggle with the razor blade, it does hold it securely for the most part though. Overall I really like this little knife and will be augmenting my EDC with it. I recommend buying this combo pack if anything for this box cutter. For $10 this alone is worth it in my opinion! Thanks for reading!

Same as the Workpro ones. I already had 2 Gerber EABs when those came out, so I did not bother. They look nice though.

Yeah I have a few of them with workpro branding. They are really light and good for the price. The best part is the pocket clip that comes attached. It can be fitted on many MTs from the looks of it. I have fitted one on my spirit.  :tu:
