Swiss Champ Challenge?

Any interest in a Swiss Champ challenge sometime this year?  To be honest, I can't keep up with all of the challenges going on  :D so if you are, let me know what month might work, and I'll run with it.  I'd open it up to the Champion owners and Wenger Tool Chest owners too.

Merit Badges Start a thread with a photo of a repair you made with duct tape Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of  a Opinel  knife  for 30 days Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Vic Spirit MT for sixty (60) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a challenge by carrying  a Combo Edged knife or Multitool and post a photo of it  for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a MiniChamp SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo daily of any SAK 74mm or smaller ( you can switch it up daily ) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Build your own version of an MRE using off-the-shelf components, post a photo of the completed MRE and store at room temperature for 6 days or more. Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for thirty (30) consecutive days. I guess I could be lured out of my temporary retirement for a Swisschamp challenge. I would much prefer if the SC were the only admissible SAK though. It's quite iconic and anybody who doesn't own one would be unworthy to participate in the challenge anyway...  ;) Any month would be fine for me, I am not planning with any challenges at the moment.

I'll bite Barry having missed a challenge earlier this year by not paying enough attention. Rather than lug one around on a pair of shorts here during the northern hemisphere summer I'd reckon Autumn would work for me so maybe October ? You could include a Halloween SC root vegetable carving challenge to wrap it up too...

The timing probably won't work, but it would be really interesting to do the Swiss Champ Challenge next month, right after the Pocket Rocket Challenge. Hit both extremes back to back.

I wouldn't mind that either Steve, but I'm in the Dean51 Challenge.  I'm leaning towards the Fall.  I agree with Phil in that it would be easier to pack the mighty Swiss Champ then.  That, and I think I might actually have a challenge free month :rofl:
Phil and I organized a Swiss Champ Challenge a few years ago that took on a life of its own :D

Phil and I organized a Swiss Champ Challenge a few years ago that took on a life of its own :D

Fall works for me. The last SC Challenge "took on a life of its own"? You have me intrigued.

A traditional was my very first knife. I must have been 8, maybe 10? It's long gone now. All I remember is wood scales and two very stiff blades. At least stiff for my small kid hands at the time.

Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Farmer X SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Leatherman Skeletool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of either an Axe, MT/Folding knife or Fixed blade (picked at the beginning of challenge) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Spyderco knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of a different blade each day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK Soldier for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Fieldmaster SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days.
