I do realize they are different.   I think I’m going for the Benchmade. I have a few Bucks and they are great!!

But the near-$100 Slim Pro models just don’t seem to have the quality I have seen with the Griptilians.   They Spydercos are super nice, but the Grips are made here in the US. That is important to me.

Plenty of Spyderco are made in the U.S. too.

What about the -1 versions of the griptilian with g-10 scales?

I think those feel much more solid than even the regular griptilian. Though, I've only handled one and haven't used one.
If the trees blew down the wind and no one was around, would the alphabet song really go backwards?

Honestly, not a fan of the light gray color. The blue liners are great but just not fond of the scales color.
