Do yours have a "Handmade Lightweight Low-Profile Sheath"? I think that is recommended since it has a specially designed edge that is "Fully Serrated to inflict maximum spread"

Here are a couple of non-metallic knives that were touted awhile back.The Lansky knife was probably the sturdiest of the lot while the Blackie Collins folder was pretty sharp but I don't know how the edge would hold up.Also assisted open.

Cold Steel offers a pretty extensive line of non-metallic blades; their FGX series.

While I'm confident the original post was tongue-in-cheek, lest anyone reading this thread get the wrong idea, these items are NOT legal to take on airplanes (at least here in the US).

Although, with screwdrivers (total length less than 7 inches) and scissors (blade length from pivot less than 4 inches) being allowed in carry-ons, I really don't see the point in banning small knives... :dunno:
