Snowy day today.

I used the toothpick trick to tie up a new leader. Worked well, although on one of the knots my tag ends both poked out in the same direction. This means that know is not as strong or secure as it could be, but I tugged on it fairly hard and it still held fast. So I'm going to fish it as is.   :dunno:

Follow-up: While the short toothpick tools work for this, I find the longer (91mm) toothpicks easier to use in this application.   :tu:

While I do fish, I've never used a bloodknot. Probably because I'm a casual Fisher, and there is no urgency to "fix" line.

I do use the Palomar knot EVERY time I fish, though
