It seemed like a good idea when I thought of it.
Ya'll got me running scared, but I think I'm going to soldier on and give it a try.  I've been saving up some money, so I have a small SAK fund that should cover this experiment.
I just hope there are nice options to buy when the time comes.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

I've bought over 30 MTs in a month before, but not one-a-day(and spread over eight brands). This should prove to be interesting to follow along. Good luck with it, FolderBeholder! :tu:

With your past record of finding good deals I think you should be able to do this. :D

It's comforting to know I'll have some of you along watching.  :tu:
In anticipation of this challenge, it sure has curtailed my current spending.
I figure I'll keep saving up until February, unless a stellar item goes up for sale that is on my 10 most wanted list.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Likewise. Hope the pond serves as a moat to protect us from being infected with that spending virus.

Good luck! I accidentally did that one month, and it resulted in one debit card getting shredded. I've since replaced it, but I am being MUCH more careful.

I will start this challenge on the 1st of February.
I've had some time to think about this  and I'm not sure how many consecutive days it will go as I want to be sure I find a suitable candidate each day for purchase and not just buy anything to keep the challenge going.
I will look in earnest each day and it would be great if 28 items catch my eye (it could happen). :climber:

I like this level of commitment! But I like buying ones that each make me happy in some way. A lot of auctions I track from favorite sellers get all bunched up on different days of the week.  I'd have to have a LOT of buy-it-now items in the cue for days that either nothing good showed up, or ended that day. And oh, the horror if you lost an auction...  :ahhh on Feb 27!  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

Good luck, and I'll enjoy this one from the sidelines!

Oh, that would definitely hurt, but if I had that many purchased by then and the finish line was so close, I'd definitely buy a Classic just to keep the race going.  :tu:

So what if you find a couple of good buys in one day, would they count as a wild card for a no buy day? That would seem fair.  :dunno:
