Horn scales  :like: :tu:

Just some raw material for mods and repairs.  Though I did have the '50s horn scale knife come in today too.  :mail:  :woohoo: Didn't have one with a 'triangular' Awl yet!

Count is 41 today:

37 of the items have arrived.

Not sure if I see the light at the end of the tunnel or just going blind!  :ahhh :D

Thank you RR, can't wait to see the Huntsman in person.  He never did show the other side of it (corkscrew side), so it will be a surprise.

Left today's purchase to chance...Put in a 'reasonable' bid and went to dinner and a movie. Got it for about 60% market price.  Not the best deal this month, but I'll take it!!   :woohoo:

Nothing came in the mail today.

So I got impatient  :dunno: and asked the seller for a picture of the corkscrew side.  Here it is:

I know it's a day early, but the final count is probably in and there are invoices that will be generated for me to pay tomorrow for the official close of the month.

And the final purchase count is 50. Not including multiple knife listings. Most are targeting only 1 knife anyway, with the exception of one today where I do want all the knives in the auction.

Just glad it's essentially DONE! Tomorrow's purchases will be the formal closing. But this is the first day in a loooooong while that I don't actually have any outstanding bids or offers. Although there are still some things that might be purchased late tomorrow. I'll add them to the official tally if I get any of those.

I failed the challenge by falling asleep before making a purchase one day.
kamakiri is still in it!  :tu:

And I wouldn't say you failed in any way...

This alone is a big WIN to me:

Thanks, FB, for issuing this Challenge...even if I didn't intend to participate at first!

I still don't see a mertit badge that would officially apply here..so I don't think I'd be able to submit for one. Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong about that.

 Thanks, VICMAN!  I'm happy to be done. Doing it was more stressful than I thought!

I do have to revise the final count to 49. I bought something else late and had to buy two of the items I was waiting for an invoice separately. The invoice for the remaining two hasn't come in yet. Count is 51 if those are included. I just won't have a confirmation email on them and that's what I've been using for the official tally.
