It’s going so slow!!!!
Day22Greg asked us for a pocket dump...This is representative of a normal day for me and depending on what I'm wearing I might not carry the organizer/admin pouch sometimes and because I'm doing this challenge I have added the ToughToolClockwise from the bandana;Cold Steel Recon 1 XL with snaggletoothBarlow money clip 3 blade classicUncle Mike's duty belt baton and Maglite holder knock-off Leatherman Carabiner toolGerber shard WalletFisher Space Pen Trekker Victorinox QuattroUnbranded pocket organizerVictorinox pen sharpenerExtreme 6 in 1 multi tool pennotebookMaglite 1 AAA15 foot paracord whistleRE Factor survival card kit (see survival forums "survival-kit kits on yourself") USB C charging cableChapstickMaxpedition tc1Maxpedition tc2 (laced together)Leatherman ST300 Victorinox Champion Plus Leatherman Croc Streamlight protac 2L Gen 2 ( elastic hand strap is off a can of Mace)Bic lighterCondor pistol belt ( my old Condor instructors riggers finally gave out after 4yrs edc)and of course what's in the middle is what we're doing this about the Schrade ST1 NB Not pictured cell phone, mints/hardcandy and CCW
Used the file to rig a cleaning tool from a hearing aid wax filter installation/removal thingy that they typically come on. Ended up using the shaft of a Q-tip to clean wax from my grandfather's hearing aids. But I got a good test out of the file; it's not as good as Vic. I'd say equal to my 2013 Super Tool 300. I don't think anything can be as bad as the files on my Paratool and Pocket Power Plier from SOG. (Image removed from quote.)
Moved the sheath from the horizontal to vertical position in order to accomodate my Mora Basic (one of two, the other is red/black with red sheath), which I used a little today. By far, it's my favorite fixed blade. Great steel, and not much more expensive than a fast food combo. I chose to put the Tough Tool sheath behind the Mora, due to the fact the TT sheath rides higher than the Basic's pommel. Also had this little Schrade Walden (1960s) Eli Lilly advertising fob knife in the shirt pocket (as my sweatpants don't have pockets) relaxing around the house today. This pattern was exclusive to Lilly, and as with most, it does have a Wharncliffe tracheotomy blade. Its nailfile was also put into use. Tools used: pliers put the grate on the gas fireplace back where it belongs and the awl/scribe scraped off dried foam from the Hibiclens soap pump. (Image removed from quote.)
A lazy day today. No use other than posing for this.DAY 23(Image removed from quote.)
