Leatherman Rev reassemble help
on: January 08, 2019, 07:38:25 PM
Anyone have pics of a Rev disassembled, particularly the knife side  :pok:

I was attempting a little mod and while I had it in pieces all laid out thinking I'll take a picture to help put it back together, I knocked the lot off my bench

I'm certain I've got all the parts back on the bench but there are 5x washers/spacers.

2x plastic spacers, a black one and a grey one, same thickness.

3x metal washers in three different thicknesses.

Any help would be appreciated :ahhh

I don't have one disassembled, but will try and picture the pivots edge-on. Will go take pics and post them in a bit.

I can see most of the parts and washers. This Rev has is NIB and should be indicative of how it needs to be reassembled. :)

Badwolf, from what I remember when I modified mine:
-black plastic washer goes in between faceplate "Leatherman Rev Tm" and blade liner, where the lanyard hole is; grey plastic washer goes between package opener and rear liner/faceplate. There is also a thin metal washer between can/bottle opener and inner blade liner
-thick metal washer goes between pliers head and rear liner/faceplate, where the clip is.
-very thin bronze/brass washer between blade and liner.
-One thin metal washer between unmarked front faceplate and phillips driver, and one thin metal washer between flathead/pry bar and unmarked rear faceplate.
Sorry I cannot supply pictures, as I did not took them while doing the modifications, but I think that Gerleatherberman's are good visual references. Hope it all goes well, and to see pictures when finished!!!
