I found an old Girl Scout Knife at a giant flea market last weekend. Little research shows it's a Kutmaster, 1948 to 1972, by Utica (NY) Cutlery. Bought it for a friend at work who was in Girl Scouts during this time period. I've seen them every now and then but not often. As a Boy Scout i buy scout knives whenever possible but I think I need to look into Girl Scout knives too. Down another $ rabbithole.
The green handled Kutmaster Girl Scout knives are very good quality knives and usually pretty reasonable in price(at least on this side of the Atlantic).I have a couple of them and also a couple Utica Featherweight(aluminum liners and bolsters)GS knives.Gotta feed that addiction ya know! lol
