Estwing info inquiry
on: January 24, 2019, 02:28:15 AM

Picked this knife up for a few bucks at a flea market over the summer. Currently starting to rehab it a bit. I really cannot find much info on it at all, and what I have been able to find has been a bit contradictory. So the only markings on the knife are a very faint Estwing logo and what I think is the word Sportsman. The only Google-fu results I got were that i could have been made by Kinfolk knives(Part of Case I'm led to believe?), or that it could have been made in Sweden for Estwing. I have no clue!

Anyone seen one of these before? Thanks guys!

I look up Estwing quite often on ebay but mostly for the brick hammers ;) I have seen several of these knives over the years and even clicked on them but sorry to say I have never paid much attention to them or know anything about them :-\ I would email Estwing on their website and see if they have any answers for you :salute: I had an inquiry a few years back about an old leather handled brick hammer that I had bought and they gave me a rather good answer but it did take a few days before they got back with me :tu:

Looks like it will be a good project though :like:

Here is a link to a leather sheath that may fit that knife but not sure

I didn't see any old design Estwing knives but I saw several newer ones that I didn't even know they had out :o :ahhh

Also good luck with the rehab :salute:
