I gotta lil time off before my new gig. Cleaning out the old work spaces. Found a few goodies I may post as time and the missus allows  :D. CONUS shipping is included in the price. Victorinox Champion, NOS, unused,  box has minimal shelf wear. Grooved corkscrew, scissors with screw. $42.00 shipped. Which, IIRC, is exactly what I paid for it, sans shipping.

Yes, it's not bad, considering what collector demand and MAP pricing has done to pricing on the online auction sites. I'm keeping a few NOS,NIB, because its a trip in the wayback machine for me. I get to relive that moment of having saved for a Champion just like this. Only other collectors and M.T.O. members really understand that experience. :cheers:

Great deal! New, never used in a box style I've never seen for just a tiny bit over what used (and by that I mean WELL used) Champions of this era go for. And in my opinion, the gray magnifier is the best one on SAKs.

My very limited Vic stock was all purchased in the late 1990's and early 2000's. Before the MAP pricing and collectors began raising the prices well past levels I would pay. I have no trouble with MAP pricing. Victorinox is a business, and one I'm proud to support. There are generations of family working on those production floors.
I not only like and use the product,heavily, I like the culture and friendly good fellowship of users. The Victorinox product has been a reliable, wholesome constant in my life.
Some of the sellers and a few modders that I have seen have been extremely opportunistic.  :twak: It's not in my nature, some people will do anything for a buck.  :cheers:
