Day 30

Opening up a cuff button hole on a shirt that came accidentally uncut.

And wow, these 30 days flew by incredibly fast, I think this was my "quickest" 30 day challenge so far. It was fun, and proved how versatile the Minchamp is. In this past month only one of the tools on it did not see any use from my side, the ruler/flathead SD.

Day #30 - label cutting, package opening and nail trimming. It's how I finish this challenge.

It's been good fun! I was already used to carrying a 58mm with me daily, so having to carry the MC was quite easy. The real challenge was remembering to document the uses and post it everyday!
The MC really is quite capable for it's size, and has way to much tools if you ask me... The Vagabond has all the useful tools in my humble opinion.
Nevertheless, either one is great, and there's not much difference in thickness, and, in this challenge, the MC was always up to the task!

Thank you Obi1shinobee for kicking off the challenge, all participants for the pictures of such great uses, and Speedy, for always cheering us on even though he was not participating!
 :drink:

I need to look at the calendar. I started late, and know I have a few more days left. I think April 5 will be my last day. The Minichamp did what I needed--within reason.  In most cases, when working around the farm, I grabbed a larger folder, and a full-size industrial grade multitool or the proper tools.  For general stuff around the house, and about the town, it did all of it. The Minichamp is light duty. It will not handle that bent, rusty stripped out mess of a Phillips screw. It isn't going to pry nails.  It will do the stuff knives of this size are designed for; for example opening mail, changing batteries in small electronics/toys, pulling staples out of paper, trimming your fingernails, opening store packaging; and the medical-specific stuff some of its tools were originally designed for; emergency surgery, namely tracheotomies (Wharncliffe/emergency blade), cutting the safety band off a pill bottle (cut and picker blade), and counting pills/beads (pharmacist blade/cuticle pusher).

Today, I think I may have lost count what I did with the MiniChamp. I cut fruit with the Wharncliffe blade, cleaned my fingernails, and a few other things.

And soon, I go from carrying a small, light easily carried tool (especially after I put the suspension clip I made from a watch chain for my Champion on it) to a beast weighing a metric ton (well a little less than a pound in sheath, with accessories) for a month. But still, when I'm not working, the Minichamp will be what's in my pocket.  Around the house, I see no need in anything more than a small folder in my sweatpants.  On another note, I can't believe a month went by this quick. For some reason, my computer has already started a 4/2019 folder with this photo when I uploaded it.
