Used to pop a bottle of cider - not to drink but to cook with.

Braised red cabbage to go with the roast chicken... only I couldn't get a red cabbage, so I'm doing it with savoy... I don't think it's going to work so well. It's lovely when you do it with red cabbage though.

Day three:

Getting some camera equipment ready. The cuticle pusher helped pry silicone wedges out of these mounts. Worked great.

Mactire - MCC Day 01

I've had a month to cool down from the Swiss Champ Challenge and the Handyman has found it's way back in my pocket as MC.
For this challenge I will keep carrying the Handyman. I remember from the Executive Challenge that I do miss tools like the pliers and the saw on occasion, not having it with me makes my life a bit miserable. Also, when I don't have the Handyman in my pocket I feel like I have lost it somewhere.

Day one is quite uneventful. Spend the day on OR (operating room) and I can't take a whole lot of stuff with me. For sure I won't take a SAK with me because I wouldn't want to think what bacteria are living between the liners. (Does any of you know of research done about germs in pocket knives? I'm very curious.)

Mactire - MCC Day 02

Visited the Amsterdam Coffee Festival today. Everything coffee and related.
Brought back two coffees to take to work, one comes in a can. I tried to use the Nail Cleaner to open the can, but the required force stopped me from going further.
Apart from taking a quick note with the Pen, that's all the action for the MiniChamp today.

Mactire - MCC Day 03

Lazy sunday, very, lazy, sunday. When I was fed-up with my own lazyness I scribbled down blueprints for a drawer knife holder with the Pen.
I used a new mini circular saw to make it, it had some learning curve to it so I'll be replacing this one with either a store bought one or a prettier one I still have to make.

You might be wondering, why no pictures? Well, I left my phone in my locker friday.  :-\
So I won't get it back untill after day 4.
