Bit Extension Holder Clip for Wave or Charge

I was using with my handy Charge TTi and thought about liking to simply carry the bit extender without the sheath, in my pocket.

Came up with this.

How about adding to the existing metal removable pocket clip two wings on either side of the stamping, that are then folded into a clip, similar to a flashlight holder. On the outside of the clip.

This would let you push the bit extender onto it and would simply hang on the outside of your pocket. Nicely and snug against the existing lip and the knurling on the bit extender, without slipping down or up.

Here is a quick sketch if I can add an attachment.

Might try to mock one up if I can get some spring steel.

Thoughts?

I think it pushes into the clip like how a little Olight pushes into it's clip.

Nice idea. I use one of the "tubes" on the sides of the nylon LM pouch. It was too wide for a snug fit, so I sew it a bit to make it tighter. Works for me.

I have lost more than a few Olights due to clips so I dont need help losing LM as well

I've added a pocket clip to my bit holder.  I had to first add shrink tube then add clip so it would be snug.  I just clip the bit holder into my Charge Leather sheath side and so far its held on nicely.

Yes, the bit extender has knurling and then a smooth part before the head where the bit goes in. This smooth part would be where the wing clips would sit, sice the knurling and the head would keep it from moving up or down.

The idea is to push the extender into the clip and it goes past the knurling then stops on the smooth part since the head actually bumps up against the top of the pocket clip.

Just an idea. I sometimes don't want to carry my sheath on my belt and just want to clip the Charge/Wave in my pocket for easy access.

It may or may not work. I'll test it out and report back.
