Day 23:
This went slightly better than I thought it would, using the A/F to do some sandwich filling.

Day 22

I saw an empty rice box sitting in the recycling bin and decided it was taking up too much space.
While it was not a serious cutting task, it did let me get a good feel for the handles which fit perfectly in my hand.

Handle comfort is important.
:iagree:
I have passed on some great looking knives because of ill fitting handles.

Nice one!  :tu:
23 days into this challenge and I have not once had to use my back up yet. I am really surprised at that. My friend at the gun show was having a problem with reading something so I lent him my Woodsman and he used the magnifying glass to be able to read it. He is now looking for a SAK with one!

Thanks Jack!  :iagree:
The little one has started to develop a patina, probably from cutting onions earlier in the challenge.

Day 23

My vitamins came in the mail and these envelopes are always tough to tear open...so out comes the blade.

Just some maintenance today. Some tung oil for the handle, T-9 for the blade and tang and RM Williams for the sheath. Love the smells of all these dressings.

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Day 23:

I did a little fly tying today. The Ulu got used to snip a bit of thread. Otherwise, not much action.

We are expecting a lot of snow over the next few days, some light snow today....  On the one hand, that's fun, on the other, I don't know how much I'll be doing aside from trying to shovel..........
