Congrats on the new position Ryan! :)  So does this mean you will be moving to a new residence? When does this exciting new chapter in your life begin?

It does indeed mean new living quarters :) Where or what that will be is still work in progress, they are trying to sort out somewhere soonish. It will be sometime in Jan, pretty much as soon as is practical really :) But hopefully it will mean i will be able to have broadband :ahhh :D :D

As for your other comments ::) But let me put it this way, I won't be complaining about going into work!

You have the best job in the world! :tu:

You know, I would have found that pretty hard to believe until recently too! Today I was invited to a training day followed by a Christmas Party with my new employers, whom I don't actually start working for until Jan 5th. I can't imagine the people I used to work for inviting me along to something like that if they didn't have to.

I'm really liking the new people, and for the first time in my life, I'm excited about going to work too!

I used to come here a lot.

Who you work with can really make or break a job.  I've had some crumby jobs over the years but if they're a good crowd it doesn't matter so much.

I agree with that Neil. We spend more time at work than we do with our families as someone pointed out to me recently. If you aren't happy (and I wasn't at my last place), it's a big deal.

The best bit about the another night was we went Greyhound racing for the Christmas do, and I won the sweep :D I bet they won't be as nice next time I see them :D
