Well got back in from my first day at work, left the house at 9 and 13hrs later returned! That was a nice first day ::) :D Actually it was a good first day, plnety of info to go over and was introduced to a variety of people that will come in handy during the year, i have most of tomorrow off apart from a meeting in the evening so i will be able to explore the area a bit and get my bearings. It's always been dark so far when i've been travelling around so will be nice to get out in the daylight and find my own way around. Should be pretty fit fairly soon as there is a fair bit of cycling to do. Looks like it's going to be a challenge but a fun one at that! :)

Ryan with broadband......the rest of us won't get a post in edgewise! :ahhh :D

Muhahahahha!! I'll be fairly quiet on mondays as it is my busiest day but apart from that it's a fairly relaxed timetable so i should still be able to keep up with you lot on here :)

Good to hear you are all in now and that you still have internet access.

Keep us updated.

Cheers :) And will do :)

Torrents are fun 8) But it seems mean to nick the (very nice) couple's bandwidth :( So no torrents for me :police:

Good. I like it when the good guys get ahead.

That reminds me off the orientation I had at my previous hospital , one of the nurses from the  Occupational Health Dept said working in OH as opposed to general nursing "was more of a headjob"  :o >:D :D. She was quite the looker too , unfortunately no positions in her Dept. at the time  >:D :D.

BTW Ryan glade you seem to be settling in mate  :salute: :tu:.

Well all was going just peachy till about 2hrs ago......my bike has a geographical problem, the front wheel is locked up safely 3/4 of a mile away from the rest of it ::) My key snapped in the lock as i was undoing it and not having my spare in York means i can't retrieve it till i get it from home, so i had to walk back with half a bike (thank God for quick release wheels!!!) Should have my key by the end of the weekend and i'm not gonna be in York for the next couple of days so its not a huge issue but annoying all the same ::) :D

Eek, is the bike remnant in a safe place or can you expect to find the remnant of a bike remnant upon your return   ???

Not quite as bad as my imagination thought then.  I had images of it locked up in the middle of York and you returning to find it had been re-styled by the late night revellers  :ahhh

The front wheel is outside a church away from the nightlife, and the rest is here with me locked up outside so should be all safe and sound :)

That's it i'm not going to York train station ever again!! Once again i was stopped at random ::) ::) :D :D Had my Crunch, bike lights and a sharpie in my rucksack (thats it, was meeting my sister who had some stuff for me), no problem at all, he picked out the Crunch in its sheath asked what it was, i said its my bike tool and he was absolutely fine with that, having my bike lights probably helped with that. It had Leatherman written on the sheath and he said "oh good set of tools there" (didn't open the sheath), bloomin disconcerting though that 2 out of 3 times i've visited the station i've been stopped, do i look suspicious or something!!! ::) ::) :D :D

Thats probably a bit rambling but there you go! :)

Either way i wouldn't be a happy bunny! :o But once again it shows that not every officer is "out to get you" i've been more than happy with the way i've been treated on both occasions :)
