How have I missed this thread?!?

This is my kind if place  :D

I’m a black coffee person, no sugar, nothin’ else :tu:

If I’m in a hurry, premade creamer can be used as a last resort to cooling a cup down.

I used to be in the french press game ( ), but I’ve been using a traditional percolator that can automatically start making coffee

I should change that  :twak:

Welcome to the most consorted caffeine consuming coalition on MT.o, CsB!
What's your favorite coffee to percolate?

I also like the French press and percolator, but find a decent coffee makers to be more easily maintained in a work environment. At home, all bets are off, as there is a cheap espresso machine, stove top percolator, coffee machine and French press. My favorite is a strong brewed espresso with a smidgen of half and half. :)

And if I'm feeling lazy and in want of a cold cup of coffee, I keep the International Delight pre-made iced coffee mix. It is an occasional guilty pleasure that brings me a bit of shame.

I think we normally percolate a french roast  (we make coffee for the whole family and try to suit everyone)

I’m always a fan of medium roasts :tu:

I need to get back into espresso and get a cheap machine :tu:

As long as it's HOT, BLACK and full of CAFFINE I'll go old school or new fangled.  Just make sure there's a lot of it.

Percolator French Roast sounds great.

I bought the Mr. Coffee $30 machine. It works, but you absolutely have to stay with it or it might blow up or make a huge mess. :ahhh
Once I acquire all of my MT grail tools, I'll be saving for a fancy espresso machine. :)

Interesting choice, David. Don't think I've ever tried that one. I'm guessing a robust, yet smooth, taste?

That a good assessment of the coffee.  :tu:   I brewed it fairly stout so its a little stouter and not quite as smooth as it would normally be.    :D

The only issue I would have is I wouldn't stop at one cup. Ultimately, I would have to quit my job and stay at home, consuming espresso beverages all day until my money ran out. Then start selling off my MTs for coffee beans. The final leg of the espresso spiral is begging on street corners for coffee beans.

The Coffee Connoisseur Consortium list has been updated. :)

Evening's coffee of choice is a strong brew with some half and half to smooth it out a bit. Served in a StarTek III tumbler. :)

I prefer tea *ducks* but I like coffee. Black, dense, not dulcified, served hot in smallish cups.

I like traditional ways of preparation, meaning

- moka pot coffee (now, for me, dat's da real deal)
- turkish coffee (mostly in the afternoon)
- french press (can make some serious damage)

Omnia vincit amor. Vae victis.

Welcome to the Coffee Consortium, firiki!

I have sorely missed Turkish coffee, prepard in Turkish restaurants, for the last few years. I used to live in NYC(2011-2015) and drank Traditional Turkish coffee quite often. I moved back home to the Southeast US and there are no restaurants or coffee shops that make it near where I live. I've tried a few times to make it at home, but it isn't the same. :ahhh
