The only metal boxes I’ve had are those red craftsman ones with the draws, one with three and another with four, after those being to heavy to carry around came the bucket or bag, but twice now the bags just rip so easy, but I still have one holding a few tools in the basement..

Okay sounds good :tu:

Well it’s no wonder, the old school metal ones are super cool to look at

Especially the really old ones, from like the 1950s or older

At some point I want to try out a bucket with one of the pouches :tu:

I like the idea
I love them,
first off, a buckets like $3 and weighs nothing,
Second, the pouch that goes in and around cost like $9-20, and again weighs nothing,
And third, work great, easy to carry, get the soft carry grip, and get the lid to make it a seat!

Unlike a cheap toolbox is like at least $50 and weighs over 15-20lbs..

I am currently in the stage of moving, but here’s one of my toolboxes, currently just sitting in my office.

A plastic-fantastic toolbox from a brand called Tactix, which is a cheap end brand, but the stuff I have had from it has actually went surprisingly good.

I bought it when I was living in Ireland, at their version of “Home Depot” called “Woodies”.

Surprisingly enough, all the hinges and carry handle are made of metal.

I bought it on sale for around €20, I think I got a good deal, especially as I have no complaints about it at all.

It has this really neat system, with two assortment boxes on each side, which is actually really handy as you can take the boxes off and bring with you to where you are working on something, you don’t have to bring the whole toolbox or constantly go back and forth between what you are working on and the toolbox, you can just bring one of the assortment boxes.

I found this particularly hard when I was working in a tight space or a place that was awkwardly get to.

I have a few other toolboxes that are currently in storage, I’ll post some pictures of those when I get a better chance
