LM Maintenance Station
on: February 02, 2019, 10:33:51 PM
It's been a LONG while since I've posted anything here. I recently had to service a Wave to accompany a Skinth I made recently...I pulled put my trusty...aged...Multitool Maintenance surgery bed and thought, this looks like garbage. Its litearlly a hunk of HDPE that I drilled a few holes in and tapped the end to hold a bit in. While it works...it's been almost 7-8 years since I've made it so it was time for an update! Fast forward 8 years...I've since got a laser cutter, finished my masters degree in design and learned the finer traits of the metric system.

Behold...the updated and very beautiful maintenance station!

OLD BUSTED JOINT: https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,31484.msg522270.html#msg522270

NEW HOTNESS (see below)

I designed the plates in Illustrator, superglued some magnets to hold T10, T10 Pentalobe and T8 bits. Dropped in a Vic ratchet set and (excuse me for forgetting) some of the cross shaped Knurled Nut wrenches.

Reason for my excitement: I talked Metro into making one for me.
Now I hope the canadian post is quick and it does not get stuck in customs.
Fingers crossed...

It arrived!

Now I need to find some time to go to my shop and retrieve the box with dismembered Multitools that also contains the Loki Mobile LM knurled screw wrenches and patiently wait for some magnets.
That was really quick service from Metro!
Thanks a ton.
