What do you buy during 2019 Black Friday week?

Basically, what do you buy this week, tool- and blade-wise?

For me, after being on a buying-on-eBay withdraw for almost 2 months, I found an excuse to go on a splurge this week. I bought:
- A pair of of black and silver Spyderco Manix 2 in M390 at retail prices (not MSRP)
- A Benchmade North Fork with wood handle
- A Gerber Center Drive in silver (to pair up with the black one I already have)

All are supposed to be new. Total almost $400. I think I am done. What do you guy buy?   :cheers:

I ended up buying 4 new 18650s for my Nitecore tm11.

I'll be heading out tomorrow to buy some new boots, and see if there's any local Leatherman Free's on sale, maybe call the Leatherman store and see if they have any deals there, might be worth the drive.

6pm.com has extra 10% on some clearance stuffs. I see some boots there. See if you are lucky to find your size.  :cheers: The only thing that sucks is you have to pay shipping cost in case you return.

Yellow is my favorite color. Figured the Fenix could keep my yellow Huntsman company. I just had to get my hands on the Warrior Pro too.

This form factor is one I really have been going for since I got a Sofirn SP31 V2. It just seems the best cross of throw, but still practical walking around at night. These also tend to have a good amount of light output at higher power, but last forever at lower power.

Anything I buy will be online, because I just can’t bring myself to go out into the chaos.  What I buy really depends on what I see that is on a really good bargain.

I did already buy some ammo.  I was running low and the what I wanted was on a nice sale.

I am unable to really find much compelling "on sale" as they suggest?
The whole thing has gotten so out of hand that I will not go shop during the scrum at all and in fact I need to get some materials for a few jobs and I bet I am screwed into the crowds just to work too.

I have started to think that many retailers count on people not really knowing what things cost the rest of the year as I just am not finding anything that I want to shop for anymore.

My favorite ad had to be yesterday in an email from Sams Club that stated that they were carrying Black Friday unto Today because it has been so successful!
WOW,Really Black Friday even on Friday!? :dunno:

Got several dvds of movies I have wanted to see for about $4 each (I don't bother going to the theater anymore; too many loud/annoying people and it costs too much) and a small chromebook for work tasks/emails for $89. Oh, and the Olight i1R 2 EOS for just shipping cost($5).

Otherwise I didn't see much of interest orcheap enough when it came to tools this year.

The KCToolCo Black Friday was a bit of a bust for me when compared to the last couple of years. The 20% off sale is good through 12/2 and I have a few odds n ends sitting in the cart but they add up to around $25 and even then I'm still not sure if I will buy em.

Right now I'm waiting for Dec 1st to roll around so I can crack open my Wera Advent. I have purchased one for myself and my father every year going back to 2012 or so.

Scraped a few bucks together and bought another Olight M2R Pro Warrior. A great deal popped up on ebay (under $83!!!) and I made an offer of $75 and it was accepted. Hard to pass up. The second one will be seen soon in a GAW. Maybe I can brighten someone's Christmas up a bit!

I went over to KC Tool online, which specialize in euro-tool brands [Wera, Felo, Wiha, etc.].  They are running a 20% off Code: KCT20 sitewide in addition including items on sale already.  I ordered a 1/4" Felo set with Torx-bits for my knives.  The set I wanted was originally, $121.22 on-sale at $76.32.  After applying the discount, It was $61.00 with free-shipping.  Hard to beat that! ;) :D

I've ordered stuff twice before from Olight with an account, I was supposed to get the i1R2. Instead, I got the "new customer" i3e. Didn't mind, since I really like that light. Also got the UV i3EOS because I've always wanted to mess with a UV flashlight.

Ended up buying a Fenix PD35TAC cerakote.  I’ve bee considering getting a PD35 for a while and couldn’t resist 25% 0ff.



I see it as I got the cerakote version for the price of the plan one.

Yellow is my color, but they had so many of those models look really cool. Wanted the WWII, the red and the blue one as well...but there is NO WAY I can justify that to myself haha.

You shouldn’t feel like a pusher.  It was bound to happen sooner or later.  I have 5-6 Fenix lights and have been eyeing the PD35TAC for a while.  The 25% off code was what really did me in.

As far as justifying lights.  It is easy - edc, car, ghb, nightstand, one at each door, etc.  There is always someplace that needs a flashlight.
