LM Wave Mod question

So I have  newer leatherman wave, I wanted run the bit driver alone on one side of the interior. what can I use to fill the gab between the frame on either side of the actual pivoting tool! this is my first real mod and just cant wrap my head around it

So you want to take out the can opener :think: Is there a particular reason you want only the bit driver in the handle? Is it for bit storage or do you have another purpose in mind :think: Not sure how to answer your question without the motive perhaps :dunno: you can use washers to fill the gap in but unless you take another LM apart I don't know where you would get the parts, or just cut the can opener part off and leave the pivot in as a washer :salute: any way you go, good luck :tu:

Post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month. You have one of your pictures in the 2020 calendar or in top three of the calendar poll in any month of the given year. Participate  in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a LM Pocket Survival Tool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the LM Crunch  Multitool for fifteen (15) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the keychain for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. You have one of your pictures in the 2017 calendar or in top three of the calendar poll in any month of the given year. You have one of your pictures in the 2019 calendar or in top three of the calendar poll in any month of the given year. Grind the can opener component off until it is essentially a washer.

Thanks guys I ended up putting the precision driver and the 1/4 inch driver on the same side and through some SAK scissors. In. Waiting for a main blade new pliers and saw swap out piece.
