Day 17 got started using the awl to open a parcel....

Later, I was working outside, replacing the cap on a retaining wall. To do so, I had to back out some hex-head lag bolts. They were well sunken in to the cap piece. Their holes had filled with dirt and dust, making it impossible to get a socket driver to get a good purchase. The ST 300's awl came to the rescue, cleaning out the debris and allowing the socket to properly seat.

A good day for the awl.  :tu:

Day 17 - Quiet day at work, used Pliers to help loosen a shower head holder from the pipe, no pictures allowed in shower area.

Dismantled a damaged bike frame and used wire cutters to cut the brake cables.

Then did some reorganization in my truck bed and caught the ST300 posing on the Stanley job box.

I use the awl a lot myself for scraping stuff out; especially grease/dirt mix from slotted screws.

Day 17.

Used the pliers to remove and reattach the rubber tie down used to ensure one of the yard gates stays shut.  Tomorrow will involve some equipment maintenance, so it will likely see some real use. These past few days have been errands more than work.

Switched to the Victorinox Hunter Pro sheath. With the horizontal sleeve on the back, it stays where I put it on my belt, and is far tougher than the nylon. It's more or less been the sheath I've used with the ST300 since new; since the factory sheath mine came with was MOLLE only (I was supposed to be getting the leather sheath, but was mistakenly sent the MOLLE version, but I didn't mind; as the MOLLE was more expensive at the time). It's survived multiple wipe downs with Lysol wipes (I had to wipe both the sheath and the pack it was attached to via MOLLE it down regularly when I was riding the bus to the community college where I was taking mechatronics classes; let's just say I had to sit next to some people with non-existent hygiene) to the point the printed Victorinox emblem wore off, being dragged through brush (it now serves as a hiking/camp pack), and who knows what else on my belt.

Day 18

The wiper blade decided to offer no resistance. The mere threat of a nearby ST took care of that  >:D

Day 18

Once in a long while the capsule may get a little stuck in the machine, out come the ST300 to solve the problem.

Day 18

Used the flat driver to adjust the hair cutting scissors
That my Missus uses as they were too loose and didn’t cut hair properly
But now they work properly again
