Day 18
I helped to ferry a $175,000 race car to the shop. My buddy drove the Track Edition Corvette.
All I was allowed to do was pick him up at the shop and let him buy me lunch.  We left at the same time but he got there 10 minutes before I did.

Day 18

Didn't get an action shot as I had left my phone in my van but I used the OG ST as a hammer to seat some nails on a deck I was staining. They were sticking up and catching on the Lambswool staining pad.

SuperFuzz Day 18

Had a bit of spare time, so quickly roughed out a new smaller ash handle for Fuzzaxe. Supertool didn't really do much to be honest.

Day 18

I used pliers today to take off cotter pin off, and also used medium sized flathead to unscrew bed screws.

Day 28 - At work one of the bikes was involved in a mishap, fortunately the rider’s pride was all that was dinged up. The bike suffered a bent rim and misaligned rear derailer.

All problems resolved snd used the ST300s can/bottle opener to remove bark/mulch fro between the sprockets on the rear cassette.

Here is a staged picture at home as camera was not with me at shop.

Beautiful pictures of your hike the past few days (actually all pictures when out on the trail).  And, I do have a question regarding gear.  Do you have a different pack for rack day of the week? And, different gear for each hike?

The weekend hike you had a lumbar pack, yet it appears a few different rucksacks over the journeys shared.

Good eye, Loopy!

I have a couple packs or bags. I usually select a bag based on the gear I'm carrying. The gear changes depending on the trip duration, weather, food/water needs, etc. Today was a 7 miles hike with mild weather. I packed along some rain gear because it seemed, despite a sunny forecast, there was a chance of rain.

There was also a chance for it to get hot, so I packed extra water. Hence the larger bag today.

Thank you Nix.

It is interesting what gear people depend on for different purposes. And how they carry.

Day 18: the equipment maintenance couldn't be done. It rained all day.  We don't have a machine shed, and the garage and attached tractor shed really don't have any room to work in. We have three cars, two push mowers, a riding mower, and various small two-stroke equipment crammed in the garage, and the attached tractor shed has two tractors and some implements crammed into it.   I wish we had a big machine shed to be able to have the room to park the equipment and maintain it.

I did, however, grab this old Collins brush axe  out of the barn this evening when I fed the sheep, and got started sharpening it. I filed the edge a bit, I can see an improvement, but I'm only 50/50 on whether I know what I'm doing or not. Had to use the pliers to release the clamp I was using to secure the brush axe to the work table.

Also hung up this old license plate I found buried under some junk in the workshop with the Phillips and medium flat screwdrivers. Surprisingly, no too banged up for a 77 year old plate. I only found two screws with a pitch that would securely latch into the peg board, but they were different heads. Kinda staged the shot with the WD-40 and duct tape, but along with the Leatherman, I think I can get out of most binds.

A vanity pic for Day 19.  I used the pliers to pull some lost change from under the seat of my car but didn't have my phone on me.
