Nothing I have comes close to an opinel or sak when it comes to sharpness. However the ST300 did well today. A little big for some of the tasks I did today but it got the job done.

Everytime I've had a Surge, I've come to the conclusion that while I like it, I like the Wave better... Then inevitably I put it back in the box and sell it on.

However, I like the look of the latest one (especially in black oxide) and the additional/refined features that are unique to it, and part of me is genuinely interested in putting one through its paces for a bit...

Yet... the other part of me baulks at the price - especially if the quality that I expect isn't going to be present... and all my spectrum related 'isms and issues start kicking in - and wonders if it might be better to invest my hard earned cash into vintage knives and multitools which have brought me huge amount of enjoyment recently and won't deprecate in value a soon as I get it.

Wow... I'm being far too serious this morning... What's wrong with me?  :think: Time to change that I think.

You know you want one Fuzzy :pok: :D They are a bit heavy but after a few days the weight seems to disappear (well to me on a sheath it does ;) ) I hope to be able to get more than a 15 day badge this time :ahhh I had to drop out because I headed out of the country before the challenge was over last time and no internet :facepalm: :D
