So this

Just need to post a photo of your axe every day.......  ;)

Or this...

However, there is one condition though that needs to be clearly stipulated from the get go: The winner has to get involved in Nix's forthcoming challenge in some way or another, either by participating directly in the challenge or by cheering from the sidelines injecting insightful, helpful and/or unhelpful tips!

Which I'm happy to do

I also voted for November. Not because I wanted it there or it would change the outcome, but it was looking lonely

I have some great news

The Texas Governor has signed HB446 legalizing brass knuckles, clubs, and tomahawks
 :woohoo:

As of Sept 1 I wont have to worry about carrying an axe for the challange. It will still be hard given I live and work in an urban setting so my axes dont get much use, but its 1 less thing to have to think about.

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Legalising how, Noa? As in it won't be against the law to have them on you in public? Or you'll be able to open carry a tomahawk on your belt? I mean, that's kinda badass, gun on one side, tomahawk on the other...

Pretty much axes and tomahawks were banned from possession in public; with exclusions for things like active trades and camping use. When the old law was written they got bundled in with batons, clubs, tire thumpers, slaps & blackjacks. So even keeping one in a daypack 'just because' was banned.

Now they will be avalable for carry open or concealed. I doubt anybody is going grocery shopping with a tomahawk though.
The real reason they changed it is the popularity of small batons and the "cat" knuckle keychains for self defense.

I just knew going into this that I was probably going to be doing a lot of beauty shots and kitchen prep...this at least lets me explore more locations.

Right...

A group of Geese is called a gaggle, for Goldfinches it's a charm and a whole lot of Crows is unfortunately named a murder... as in a murder of Crows... Still with me?

So, my question is, what do you call a bunch of Rinaldi Bruces?

The correct answer is: "Riot"

E.g., Fuzzy posted a picture of a Riot of Axes.

Aye, that sounds about right - a bruce of Bruces.  :tu:

Anyway, ones off to Montana tomorrow and the other to Tasmainia, so I thought I'd take a group shot with mine before they go.
