Aye, that sounds about right - a bruce of Bruces.  :tu:

Anyway, ones off to Montana tomorrow and the other to Tasmainia, so I thought I'd take a group shot with mine before they go.

Can't wait for this day  :mail:  :ahhh

Not to be confused with a bob of Bobs...

Imagine trying to make a skit like that these days with safety and time restrictions on production lines...

Right...

A group of Geese is called a gaggle, for Goldfinches it's a charm and a whole lot of Crows is unfortunately named a murder... as in a murder of Crows... Still with me?

So, my question is, what do you call a bunch of Rinaldi Bruces?

(Image removed from quote.)

That's a fine "Brace" of Bruces

I couldn't find an established collective noun for a group of axes, so we can call it whatever we want!

Just finished a smaller (half sized) ash handle for Fuzzaxe this afternoon. Although I  really like the original haft, the ergonomics of this one fit my hand better and I also think ash is an axcellent wood... it's lovely to hold.  :dd:

Tazzie, Nix - gauntlet has been thrown!  :ahhh

Lovely work on the ash handle, Fuzzy. What did you use to finish it?

I just used some linseed oil I found in the shed. If I was down south, I might have used cedar oil, but I think linseed oil is good enough.

Linseed is perfectly good for that. You could make another long one now, too

I've only got old bottles of linseed, I haven't bought any new oil. No problems at all

Got things on, but then I'm off to Melbourne for 2 nights on Monday. Hopefully Young Bruce doesn't arrive when I'm not there to welcome him home

oh that's nice
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Looks like he's cleared customs and immigration now, if he doesn't come before about 1pm Monday then I'll have to open him as a birthday present Wednesday
