Awesome photos everyone! Some nice looking (and movie famous!) places.I've spoken with the official 5th Anniversary GAW Adjudicator......and she has agreed to let the competition run till the weekend. I'll do a random draw Sunday morning pacific standard time (March 3) and post the results.
Thought I would post a couple more.First is a place I'm sure was abandoned during the dust bowl for lack of water. I always thought of it as busted dreams. Walked over to the little well house after taking the second shot .........it was full of rattle snakes.
Wow!
Awesome pics , Blackbeard neat places

Congrats on 5 years! I'm still aspiring....01 - Mechanickal02 - RF5203 - SMiller4314704 - Blackbeard05 - Butch06 - Poncho6507 - Douglas08 - sir_mike09 - SirVicaLot10 - Magentus11 - Nix12 - Wspeed13 - Top-Gear-2414 - Aloha15 - Alan16 - zrxoa117 - Sea Monster18 - Smashie19 - FInixNOver20 - MTMatt21 - Syncop8r22 - Craggus2000This is a photo I recently took in Scotland - It is Loch Shiel, west of Fort William, and we were the only people in sight. It was totally silent and perfectly serene.Interesting fact - If you turn 180 degrees from where I took the photo you would see the Glen Finnan Viaduct in the distance, which was the railway viaduct used in the Harry Potter films.
@cranked . The stove is a beast, so much so that I want one for my home. I would love to build a mini cabin ( man cave ) in my back yard and put the stove in there. Yours looks to be in a great place.
It helps me keep warm in the winter, it's actually my second stove, my main wood stove is much bigger and lives in the basement. I use the little one by itself when it's not crazy cold and together with the big one when it is. It was made in Norway, they sure know how to make a great stove. When your primary source of heat is wood it helps to have options.
Congrats on the five years here mate. I finally got out for a run!!Pic taken earlier this morning looking northwest from the summit of Big Ben.(Image removed from quote.)
