Day 19:

Wenger Mustang with a bicycle scale for some odd reason.

I love the wrench on Wengers paired with the Philips driver rather than the magnifying glass. Sadly the serrated scissors makes me not want to carry Wengers often.

Used Scully to cut off the bottom part of a milk jug. Needed something to make wood filler and there was an empty milk jug in the recycling  :D

Day 20.

Sitting in the lessons/conference again.
Data science. All day long.  :ahhh

Again Pulse on my side. Didnt take many tools with me on my trip so the selection might get boring.

Looking back a SI or BSA knife would have been the ideal choice. Not much to do here besides slaughtering breakfast items.

Day 21 of 30

I have with me the only supertoll that wasn't called a Supertool  ;) The mighty Core :tu: It has a Zytel insert and that gives it the boxy look at the pliers instead of the normal taper that usually comes with a Supertool :salute:

I have broken two Cores  :ahhh Both had to do with the locking system and probably the reason I have never broken a ST300 in this manner (as they worked the bugs out of it in the Core :salute: )

Same, the only LM I've ever broken was the locking system flange "spring" on the Core and I wasn't even being tough on it.

I was using the Core the first time that it broke (the saw I think) , sent it in and they fixed it  but then the next week I was just holding it and the goofy thing fell apart on me :ahhh I sent it in again with a letter of not being very happy that I had to send it in again so quickly ::) and turn around was less than a week there and back  :o never really used the Core hard again  I am getting where I trust it a bit more nowadays but still not as much as I trust the rest in the series :salute:

Today is a LM day. Joining the PST today is that beat up Crater I resurrected. It’s not pretty, but it is sharp and makes an excellent work knife!

Day 21:

Day of brain draining meetings with admin staff that have either no idea what they are going on and on and on about or people that haven't been doing relevant work in 10+ years but still oversee us. Fun times.

Pulled out my blue Wenger Commander as so we can be blue together.

Here’s the story on that. I came across the knife on eBay...

It was in rough shape, but it had the screw drivers in it and they were pristine.   Well, I had a plain blade Crater and bought the rough T for the tools.

I did the swap and used all the “bad” parts to make a beater knife. It’s ugly but it IS sharp!!!

I don’t know what the previous owner did to it but the serrated part of the blade was destroyed.

I’m kind of glad it has a blunt tip now. Those Craters have a damn needle sharp tip. I’m always poking myself with a nice one!!  Haha

How big are the Craters? Similar to an Endura? Larger? I like folding knives around the Delica in length/heft because I have fairly small hands but would also love to have a back up screw driver like many of the Crater models contain.

The new LM Free T series me has hoping they will be a nice alternate to our SAKs.
