Excellent review RP.   It certainly looks like Roxon is taking things to the next level - reasonable price and excellent build and design.

John.

Thanks!
I am very satisfied with them so far.
I am also thinking of getting the Spark, the one with the ferro rod. We'll see.

WeAllJuggleKnives's review of it.
It did not show up in my subscription feed. I only saw it today.
Great stuff, but I already knew that. :D

I like mine too, but today my confidence in it got a little bit stumped. Tried to cut off a paracord fob from one of my SAKs, and it failed miserably. The paracord got stuck in the scissors without being cut.
I will sharpen the scissors later and try again.

I am sorry to hear that. :-\
I hope you get it back to working order. It would help if it had an adjustable pivot, like the Storm does. Don't know why they did that differently.

:iagree: I sharpened the scissors yesterday and they have no problems with paracord anymore as long as i cut in the back third of them. Which i would consider quite normal for a cut on a soft material.

SirVic,
Did the jamming stretch the pivot and create any play?
I only ask, because that usually causes permanent damage to scissor pivots. :ahhh

RP, after reading your good review I went ahead and ordered my Roxon for which I received today. I am not disappointed. The quality and feel is top notch and defies its modest price. Thank you for your review  :like:

The only thing I would like to add is a lanyard. I am still trying to figure out how as I see no 'opening' that I could attach a lanyard. Has anyone got any ideas?

Only suggestion I have is a short metal tab under one of the nuts, like the LM PSTs...  :dunno:

About the lanyard:
You can either run the lanyard through the pocket clip hole, or just under it.
Or what Max suggested. Something like a bike chain's figure 8.

If you are good with a Dremel, you could also drill two tiny holes through the steel, where it bends to cover the blade tip.
Not an ideal solution. What Max suggested is easier to do, and easy to reverse, as long as you can you can find a suitable piece and the screw fits.

Just checked the pivot. No play whatsoever. It is still pretty snug.

Good day,

I just got the Roxon KS from Amazon thanks to your review. So far I am very happy with it. The knife is long enough for my needs. I didn't expect the scissors to that big which was a great surprise. However, I'm quite worried since mine came in a different packaging (smaller, just as big as the knife) but the manufacturing company on the box is Chamfun which owns Roxon multitools. I also doubt someone would make a fake of an already inexpensive knife. Is mine original? haha

Thank you

Hello and welcome to the forum! :waving:
That's why I reviewed it. It is great to hear you like the KS.
I would not be too worried about the different packaging. My guess is that they went with that to save money. It is cheaper to offer the tool in a smaller, simpler box, and because it is a smaller package, they can ship more of them in one container.
