Some discussion about this multitool occurred in the general discussion forum but I feel like this tool really deserves a proper thread. The name of the tool is still unknown, but it has one of the most unique toolsets I have seen so far, especially under $30  :woohoo: :drink:

Toolset:  :climber:

exposed tools:
Hammer cap
Glass Breaker
Tweezers

Outside tools:
Straight blade
Saw
Belt cutter/ Gut Hook
Scissors
Multi purpose tool??
4mm bit driver
2 spare double sided bits
eye glass screwdriver
Plier/wire cutter

Wow that is interesting. Its got a hammer edge!! Regular & micro drivers!. Does anything lock? Blade & pocket clip remind of the Boxtree Multi Plier/Adjustable wrench. Did boxtree brand it? Don't know if Boxtree has a factory. I loved the Boxtree multi wrench but the bottom jaw keeps falling out & the grip wheel plus its post! Then the pieces are hard to find

Yes, looks like at least 2 of the tools lock (saw, blade). And I ordered one, will let u guys know when it gets here. If it is as good as I hope (and hopefully interchangable with Leatherman parts). May be the best MT under 40.

Cheers,
Hg

That is interesting! The design kind of reminds me of an Avid gun tool I saw on Amazon, but the tools are different. There is some similarities between this and the Avid's body. The steel reminds me of a Gerber or one of the recent SOG's.

Same here. Especially when it's Prime eligible, meaning it will ship from the States.  For sure, I'll get one of those then.

The pictures I saw from someone who has it look exactly like the pictures which is surprising. Will do a video review when I get mine.

I have been saying for a while that I would like to see OPT type functions integrated into a plier type tool.  I guess someone finally listened.  :D

Just the wrenches though. Maybe it's a ruler on the other side, but even then, it's not much.
I'd much rather have a file in there, or a jigsaw holder.
That thing does not even look like a pry bar. Why not do it like the Emerson Multitasker, with the removable prybar? That was a nice solution.

Lets be honest, that is the first tool I am going to remove. But even without it...its a sick tool.

More than likely a leatherman file from a wave. It seems the most fitting. Depending on the size though I'd love to use the surge blade exchanger.

assuming they fit, I think a leatherman plier exchange and a file addition would make this near perfect for me. I just love the end cap tools...glass breaker and hammer are so sweet.

Looks like a nice large multitool. My favorite type! Interesting that there is no brand name on it also. I am going to look for a US source for one.

if you scroll through the images, the first one shows that the company is SPLITMAN. I also have the manual to add as well.

If they call it 'Hammer Multitool', how about "Splitman Hammer"? Sounds nice.

Also, wow! :o
This is a great design. So many features, it really is amazing that it looks so compact. I expect it to be a little crude, but it looks decent enough quality.
Can't wait for the review.

If it had a Surge-like reamer, and a file/jigsaw holder, it would be killer!

I think you will like it, so far the biggest downside is that the bit driver is a 5mm driver? So wierd, no idea where you even get those size bits, why didn't they go with a precision 4mm size..sigh. Then it would have been boss.
