SOG Ninja Daypack $24.99 till March 9

I've got a small selection of packs, some expensive, some way cheaper.

Been curious about this one for a while. Most prices are around $30-$35.

Found this today.

The Olive Drab is In-store only, but the Black is available online. So, being lazy, I went with black, and bought two. Free shipping for $50 or more purchase. Threw in a cheap pair of binoculars, so I could take advantage of a $10 off $60 coupon (posted online), for a total of $52 & change. With tax, $57+. I'll take it.  :woohoo:

I have been using one of those for work for a year now. I have had zero problems with it so far.

Didn't really pay attention to my receipt till this morning.

With that $10 off coupon I used, the packs actually came out to $21.02 each.

Nice!

Okay, so my SOG packs & binoculars came in today.

Holy Moly, cannot believe the build & quality for the price I paid on these packs.

As I mentioned before, I've got higher-end packs. My fave BOB is my Maxpedition Vulture II.

I have handled the Rush 12. And, yes, the nylon on the SOG isn't the same, but it's more than adequate, and way better than some Jansports, etc, costing much more.

The zippers are stiff, but I've found that to be the case on some expensive packs, as well. Either break the pack in gently, or lube the zips (that's what I'll do here).

Why do I still buy lower cost packs? Because I just don't want to ruin my nicer stuff for quick & dirty getaways (my good stuff is for long-term and/or true emergencies), nor do I like to use my nicer bags for vehicle carry (more likely to get lost/stolen). And, I absolutely will not lend my good stuff out to anyone (ANYONE). Nephew shows up unprepared for our weekend outing? No prob, toss him one of my SOGs (although, not sure now, might be too good for that, lol).

Anyway, just wanted to share some feedback. This purchase is definitely a win in my book.

Oh, the Humvee binoculars, for the price I paid, into the wife's glove box. They'll by getting regular use.  :D
