Help me vandalize a Ranger
on: May 14, 2019, 12:54:22 PM
I’ve got one of the big Wenger Ranger multitools (with the fixed pliers. I got it in a group buy here, about a decade ago) There’s a knife and tool show I’m going to on Friday and I wanted ideas what to write on the blade. We don’t have many laser-etching opportunities in nornthen Israel...

Edit: Just remembered, it’s a Swissgrip.

I'd keep a Swissgrip away from personalisation options and choose something else instead...
Way too collectable to decrease the vallue like that.

I think to answer the question "WHAT to write on the blade?" you must first answer the question "WHY write on the blade?".

Welcome to :MTO:  Radrler

If it were me I wouldn't have anything etched on it personally but that is entirely up to you and if you enjoy it then that is great :salute: I just have no idea what you should put  :D

:iagree:  Maybe even laser etch on an EDC daily use tool could be a better option?

Something like this to give it a personalize feel:

Well, I kind of rotate my EDC, so it didn’t make sense to single anything out. On the other hand, the Swissgrip is THE toughest, most worklike tool I own, one which I am certainly not about to trade. That was the logic, anyway.

I see your point, though.
