I think I am more traditional when it comes to fixed blades, but more tactical when it comes to folders. Unless you count SAKs, I'm not a real big fan of traditional type fixed blades. I have one Case knife and I'm not impressed.Def

In my personal view:I define Tactical blades used for; self defense/military, mall-ninja. Made/style for fighting/combat, and looks (black/camo).A police officer or soldier uses this for defense/offense; a mall-ninja thinks he is going to use it for that.A traditional blade is typically for EDC.
