After decades long research, I think I’ve finally found it…I’ve arrived at perfection…Presenting the elusive perfect “balance” (size, weight, utility) of pocket everyday carry.

Victorinox Compact Swiss Army Knife
Fisher Bullet Space Pen
Leatherman Pocket Survival Tool
Thrunite T10 II Single AA Flashlight
Field Book Notebook

…and there you have it.  Now you know.

I've carried very similar before so I think you're onto something.  :D

The details…

Victorinox Compact Swiss Army Knife (2.3 ounces and 14 functions of pocket fun, familiar even to the masses).

Fisher Bullet Space Pen (1 ounce, writes upside down, on materials not to other pens likings, and won’t dry out in your lifetime, won’t break or poke a hole in your pocket or person, sized to fit in any pocket…even those hideous millennial skinny jeans I suppose…although I don’t think millennials do much writing…they seem more into touchpadding…but when the battery goes kaput).

Leatherman Pocket Survival Tool (5.2 ounces of well thought out svelte and sexy, precisely fit form AND function…that is carryable in any real mans or woman’s POCKET).

Thrunite T10 II Flashlight (1.4 ounces of single AA long lasting, multiple mode see in the dark carry anywhere light).  She’s a dowdy girl but in this case it’s function over form.

Field Book Notebook (1 ounce of 2mm thick handy and pocketable note taking ability…because sometimes sticking to good old fashioned basics still works best…see Fisher Space Pen above with questions).

TOTAL = 10.9 ounces of out the wazoo pocketable functionality and at least in some cases, the looks to go with it!

Thanks, and I can see why you might want to get another.  The Compact is such a useful minimalist SAK that I wouldn’t mind having another for backup.

Here’s another pic of the sleek two layers to tempt you…

I did lose count how many times I told myself the same thing, only to change it after every other month after I joined MTO. :D

I think that’s the best we can hope for…some consistent favorites in rotation dependent on our mood :-)
