I learned a long time ago to always keep a piece of tinder and a spare Flint in the bottom of my Zippo. In this instance its the heads off of a Q-tip which fluffed-up stuffed in the windguard light pretty readily even after your Zippo is dry

Day 29 - doing what keys do! There has not been much action shots from tool usage but it's usually quick stuff or tweezers use that won't look good in pics

I have 2 reasons to chear :woohoo:

1) I got the macv cutter to kind of cut tape, somehow, by piercing with the pry tips then using ot as a zipper.

But thats not the BIG reason

I got a box from Omaha's Surplus up in FtWorth.
And after some cursing at the macv with the shipping box and some delicate surgery on the vintage inner box with a pair of truma shears (they allready slit it for inspection I just had to finish the job)
I am the proud owner of a solid oak training round for a USN 3in naval gun, headstamped "MK6 50cal" & "1944". Now I just need to find a way to properly display it with the box. I will probably also try to find some vintage photos of them and their crews as well.

Pro tip:
When your wife asks for an artillery shell to display in the living room you dont hesitate...you buy.

Seems we've lost a few.  I only counted 10 pictures so far for day 29. I know west coast and Pacific do still have a few hours left today.
