Questions about a SAK with a stainless steel handle
on: March 17, 2019, 02:20:15 PM
I found a stainless steel SAK, but I'm not sure its exact name. It's 84mm. Should I call it popular ?I think it was produced in the 1960s,I'm looking forward to expert answers. Thank you.

Have you measured it? Sure it's not a 75mm? Those came in this scale variation.

I prefer to call it model 70 St.

Thank you, buddy, you provided this knife. Its logo indicates that it should have been made in the 1930s.that SAK might not have a name but a code number at that time,But will this naming continue until the 1960s?Will it have a name in the 1960s? :D

I don't think so. As many others, this knife was produced in 30-40 only.

I think that this one (Model 70 St.) can be called as predecessor of later Secretary model, but definitely they are different models, IMO

Thank you, buddy. I've learned something new. I think this kind of old SAK with stainless steel handle doesn't seem to produce much.
