Vintage Fuzz Day 9

Pickles... lovely green pickles!

(Image removed from quote.)
Pickles...I have learned to really appreciate pickle juice...yes...pickle juice! Ever get cramps in your legs that wake you up out of a sound sleep? I have and was given pickle juice and within seconds was back to sleep. Same results on a couple of different occasions. I was told mustard would do the same thing but I would rather drink juice.

Pickle Juice was the original Gator Aide.  It's full of potassium, salt, and other minerals, and I've made use of it myself on especially hot days.

Cheers, I'm going to seriously look into that as I do quite often get restless muscles and occasional muscle cramps at night.

Ron Who - Day 6 - Tuesday Special

Traditional Solingen backlock by Hartkopf (with Balbach damast and ivory scales).
No heavy duties for this one, just an apple every now and then.

I didn’t know that...and this year when I sweated my shirt had collected the salt evaporating from me. That was a first!

Most of my life i thought pickles were there for one reason, to bin..you open the burger and rake through it till you find them, pick them out and throw them away, that was their purpose in life, it's only really in the last couple of years or so that i started eating them, now i think they do indeed add something to a burger and while i wouldn't say i loved them i can now at least eat them and kinda miss them if they are not there, i will pass on the pickle juice though  :D

Day 9

Many years ago i helped out a couple of American tourists, the woman gave me a Heinz pickle pin for luck, it has been stuck on the sun visor of every car i have had since  :tu:

Bonus pic, with added pickle

You already have the jar of pickles so you have the juice...keep it, the juice will be there after the pickles are long gone!

Solingen traditionals (at least those in my collection) are manufactured, or hand made, and unlike e.g. GEC knives they do show imperfections.
So most of them are unique indeed even if you don´t consider the natural variations in handle materials.

Agree.  Pickle juice works well for during sports and workouts.
And for after sports and workout, as a recovery drink, chocolate milk works well.

Pickle juice also goes well with whiskey (pickleback).

The Girl Scout knife got double coffee duty today.  Folgers is for everyday and the Black Rifle is for when I actually get to sit and enjoy.
