I'm finding that, for most of my days, a blade really is all I need.  How do you guys feel?

A knife blade is definitely my most used tool. I miss the sense of comfort that comes with having a few drivers and an awl, but "just a knife" seems to be fine so far.....  :)

At some point this weekend I'm going to have to play with some protective fencing. I'll wish that I had a nice Leatherman for that, but I'll substitute some wire cutters and pliers.  :dunno:

It all depends on what you do.

Shears and a saw, and only sometimes a knife.  A hoe is the tool I use most.

A malicious counter-rumor spread by my competitors. In fact, I can't keep the judges out of the fridge........

(and they are starting to smell a bit 'off', so perhaps I should store them in the freezer.....)

Day: 12

Got out for a short but pleasant walk in the hills today. Going to be hotter today, so I kept it short and sweet.  :D

Nice pics everyone :tu:

Day 12

And a bonus, Richartz, Solingen with a Moose seeing as there were reference to Mooseseses yesterday, this is not an entrance to the carving competition as i "carved" it with a scroll saw so that would be cheating  i couldn't see how to make it 3D with the saw nicely so i will finish it by hand with the knife, well..at least give it eyes and a nose  :tu:

Fuzzy I see Moose have been returned to the highlands. I apologize for being a bit harsh about a Moose being to much for you. Since the Moose has returned your more than entitled to carry a Moose pocket knife.    :tu:    A green one would look right good also.     :)

Thank you David - honour has been restored... (sniff)...

Nah... we were good anyways!

Those seem like wonderful pocket knives.... small, but utility filled.

I know. I'm debating with myself, whether to (try and) get one.

In keeping the spirit of the greatest challenge ever, I'll be carrying the Beer Scout and Pony Jack this week.

How I do love that Beer Scout!   :dd:
