Sadly after 27 days The Grohmann and me have never really connected, it's an awesome knife with Zero personality, is the only way I can describe it.

On the other hand I've owned the Trapper for all of three hours and can't put it down, I even made it my profile picture  :tu:
Like your avatar and I can understand you not being able to put it down. It is for me the right size at around 111mm. Enjoy

Right. The deck1 was well shuffled, all the knaves were removed2, and then the deck was well shuffled again.

1. This cool deck of cards was a present from Mrs Nix, back when she liked me. She found this deck while traveling in Russia.
2. Just kidding! I accidentally left the knave of Spades in.

A card was drawn at random......

G10, the tang stamp on the spay blade is 10254 SS.

From my research a 10 indicates that G10 is used for the scales. 254 is the knife style (Trapper)

Month almost over. It's been all fun and games here but a major upheaval in my personal life. I gave in my resignation for work on Wednesday. It's been nice in a way to have something silly and unimportant like this (relatively!) to take my mind off the big things and all the stress.
Oh boy. Been there and done that. And it always worked out for the better!

A lot of really nice pics and several of nice new knives.  Hopefully all those who have been drawn to purchase new knives based on the pictures here, find one that really fits them like Greg with his new yellow Case Trapper and me with the Sodbuster Jr.

Day 27

Let the duo have some sun light, while out with the dog.

PS -
comis I hope you are feeling better soon.

pomsbz I glad this thread has helped provided some relief from the stress.

Congrats to RF52

Day 27:

Work day. Drove two hours back to my home town to do some work for the Moms.

For my mom I had to install a new belt on her dryer and replace the dryer vent hose. Once that was done, had to work on her old Mountaineer and get it running.

For the dryer, I don’t have any pics. Was a rough and dirty job. Only thing my 110LT was used for was cutting open packages.

My Hercules did the rest. Removing the screws and using the bottle opener as a pry tool to release the clips holding the top down.

My ST300 was used to cut the wire running inside the dryer vent.

Then, while the Mountaineer is running to build the battery back up, I came down to my mother in law’s house to put together an electric pressure washer she recently bought.

Used the 110LT to open the box...

And to cut the straps on the hose...

Most of the rest of the work was done using my newly acquired Locksmith. It did great with one exception...

The exception...

So all of this...

Became this...

With the help of these...
